Welcome To Our Practice

EQ Health in Burr Ridge, IL is a comprehensive mental health center offering multiple levels of care to support individuals at every stage of their journey. We provide adolescent (12–18) and adult Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs, along with individual therapy and medication management.

Our mission is to go beyond symptom management and help individuals create lasting, meaningful change from the inside out. Through our Emotional Growth Model, we guide individuals in exploring their experiences, understanding their emotions, and building self-awareness and emotional intelligence—leading to more confident, empowered living.

We treat a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, eating disorders, personality disorders, and substance use, using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and integrative care.

At EQ Health, we focus on the whole person—because when you understand yourself, everything else begins to shift.

I enjoy providing psychotherapy for individuals, groups, and couples, and I genuinely love my working hours in all settings. I have experience working with adult women and men, adolescents, and individuals from minority groups. I feel confident supporting clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance abuse, trauma, relationship issues, impulse control, sexual difficulties, postpartum challenges, neurodivergence, life transitions, career or school-related stress, crisis, self-harm, power imbalances, bullying, abude, stigmatization, or those simply seeking to dive into self-exploration and psychoanalysis.

I am interactive in the therapeutic process, providing a safe space for my clients to take their armor off, be unfiltered, and express themselves authentically. I operate from a psychodynamic approach and believe that being in a therapeutic relationship allows us to relive our stories, have a corrective emotional experience, and project the future with self-empowerment. In addition to using CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Pre- and Post-Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Integration, Harm Reduction Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, and Somatic Therapy, I support with respect, copasin, curiosity and provide a container where mind, body, and spirit integrate into a confident sense of self and trust to thrive in today’s complex world.

I identify as a woman who came to the U.S. as a teenager and have lived here for more than half my life, giving me a strong understanding of multiculturalism. My spark for counseling began in high school when I was supported by a counselor who inspired me. I started my career in Health and Wellness Spas, later co-founded a business, and held a managerial role that shaped my growth. My love for mental health reemerged when I became a parent and began connecting with people through a new lens. That shift brought me back to the dream I had as a teenager—to become a mental health professional. I genuinely love my work and feel grateful to do what I do. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, running, learning through books and podcasts, exploring my psyche, meeting people from different backgrounds, doing silly things with my family, traveling, going to live shows, and having deep conversations about human nature and younger generations’ well-being.
